| 'ello everyone.
due to kidney stones, i'll be taking a medical leave for the spring semester, and as such, will be sans internet for quite some time. i'll be back in the fall, so all of you ku people aren't rid of me yet...
however, i guess this means i should momentarilly retire my xanga account, since i'll have no way to update.
if anyone wants to stay in touch (hint hint) feel free to write me at
Will McBride 878 Nittany Court Allentown, PA 18104
i'd more than appreciate it.
best of luck!

| 4 o'clock in the morning. my packing is all but finished (obviously, i still have to do the computer), i'm prepared for my 11am exam (if we still have it~the weather is very, very bad outside right now)...and i have imbibed far too much coffee to even bother with the pretense of trying to sleep.
what a week. my brain hurts.
well, i'll be home in a few hours. if you want, call me at my parents house (nothing after 930pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!they don't like it when the phone wakes them up!). fuck, i'll be 22 in what, six days? c'mon, people...someone had better call. unfortunatly, home=no internet, so you won't be getting a response via IM at 3am like i usually do.
for you KU people reading this, enjoy your break, and i look forward to seeing you in a month!
anyway, i just glanced at what i've just written and realized that i'm starting to lose my coherency, so maybe i will try to sleep for a bit after all.

| fuck this. wake me up when finals are over, the trees are green again, and the only ice within 500 miles happens to be in the form of the cubes cooling my drink.
people often say that the platypus is nature's cruel joke. i say they've never gotton to know one, and that the real joke is placing the guy known for freezing his ass off when it's anything less than 80 degrees out in the middle of balmy fucking pennsylvania.
| 'twas the week before finals, and all through the Hall all the drunkards were stirring in loudly eupohoric thrall for why bother studying for tho exams are but nigh for the focus of Johnson is merely to get, um, "by"
to hell with need for respite! i'll just sleep when i'm dead besides slumber is narry an option when there's a restless asshole 'neath my bed (though that matters resolved and with it much relief for beginning next semester i'm living in Johnson 415)
Having long given up hopes of a good education this place has driven them from my head after all, it IS kutztown i'm lucky to escape without an STD instead On chlamydia and herpes and crabs and the clep syphyllis and aids (ku's protection= saran wrap)
yeah...i started writing that a few night's ago. as you could tell, the world collectilvely decided to make too much noise to let me sleep that night, and i heard some interesting conversations outside about "the weird red bumps that appeared out of nowhere.."
i should finish that one of these days. see if i can't get it read at commencement.
anyway, i won't really have much time for xanga for a while; however, i'll do my best for one last post before the start of break. after that, no internet for a month.
...off to class... | | |
| well, it is now 2:40am. I just finished writing two papers that are due for tomorro-, er, today, and am taking a quick break before i start my third and (luckily, for sanity's sake) final paper, which is due on tuesday. Unfortunatly, this paper has to be a minimum of ten pages, and requires observations and interviews with a young child, which i havn't done, seeing as how toddlers aren't exactly all that abundant on a college campus. So, i get to do this paper using my all time favorite method, which is a little trick i like to call "the art of bullshitting beyond all belief".
thanksgiving break was interesting, if not tenuous. it was nice to see my family; however, relations seemed stressful and odd at best. i was able to spend time with some friends whom i havn't seen in quite some time, which i enjoyed. thanks guys, i don't think i would have survived the break with whatever semblance of sanity i claim to have intact without you.
once again, thank you james for referring the pumpkin blend. damn, that was good. i'll definitly do my best to go back for another as soon as winter break comes around, which is in about two weeks i believe.
also, special thanks to phil. the jump drive proved to be a lifesaver, and i was able to FINALLY print out that paper from another computer.
By the way, does anyone know where i might possibly be able to stea...i mean, obtain (yes...thats it...obtain...) a black ink cartridge for a dell printer? apparently i might need a new one, even though the one i currently have is still pretty full (it's the original one i got with the printer last winter, and supposedly the connection is dried up or something) and i would rather not have to spend $20 i don't have for a replacement.

(this is just me, the result of my break and a welcome-back all nighter full of essay writing)
sorry the pics didn't come out all too great~my camera's not exactly the best, and my flash isn't working properly.
anyway, i'm going to try to get at least half of this damn thing written tonight. g'night.
